The NWS Charleston and the NWS Pittsburgh have both asked me to pass along their sincere appreciation for the Skywarn snowfall reports received last night.

Both Skywarn Nets did exceptionally well. The Marion MARA Skywarn Net had17 individual check-ins last night. The North Central West Virginia Skywarn Net also had 17 individual check-ins. Well done!

Now as for this Sunday morning, both NWS offices are asking us for your snow totals this morning. Just put a warm coat on and stick whatever ruler that you have into the snow and let us know what you see.

We will activate the North Central WV Skywarn Net twice on the W8MWA repeater--once at 08:00 EST and once again at 09:00 EST to receive your snowfall reports. Afterwards we will secure the net with thanks and appreciation.
