At 434 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of moderate to briefly heavy snow over Jacksonburg, or 15 miles west of Mannington, moving east at 50 mph. Locations impacted include... Morgantown, Fairmont, Westover, Mannington, Star City, Pleasant Valley, Winfield, Barrackville, Monongah, Granville, Pine Grove, Fairview, Hundred, Cassville, Jacksonburg, Brookhaven, Rivesville, Grant Town, Farmington and Worthington. Visibilities may briefly drop to less than a half of a mile in this heavy snow. A quick accumulation may cause slick spots on roads, especially secondary and untreated routes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations.
