The NWS Pittsburgh has issued a series of Urgent Winter Weather Messages for North Central West Virginia. The Weather messages follow below. Please review the messages below to find the ones particular to your QTH.
Also, the NWS Pittsburgh has requested snowfall reports from us particularly on Saturday and Monday. Please take a plastic or wood ruler and measure the snowfall when it occurs in your area. They need our reports.
We will be running the North Central West Virginia Skywarn Net during this Winter Weather event. Please monitor the W8MWA two-meter repeater especially on Saturday and Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and create periods of near whiteout conditions due to blowing snow.
