The NWS Pittsburgh has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for eastern Preston and Tucker counties. Possible gusty winds and snow squalls in Marion and Monongalia Counties. 

The winter weather impact potential will increase in the higher terrain this afternoon. 3-5 inches will be possible by Thursday morning after the quick transition from rain to snow this afternoon. 

Along with snow, strong wind gusts between 45 and 55mph will be possible in the ridges of Preston county and eastern Tucker county. 

Gusts from 30-35 mph are likely in the lower elevations of Marion and Monongalia counties. .There is also possible snow squall conditions overnight.
