Greetings,
I am trying to program a Motorola XPR8300 repeater I bought at Dayton/Xenia to be installed at the Scout Camp.
I am in search of anyone who might have a copy of older MOTOTRBO CPS software that might be willing to get together and see if we can get the repeater to cooperate and be programmed.
I have an official copy of the current Motorola MOTOTRBO CPS 2.0 software, but the repeater has an incompatible firmware version - apparently the solution is to find someone with the old software - so here I am.
This is my first venture back into Motorola Equipment since the crystal days. Their system of constantly upgraded firmware and programming software without backwards compatibility and geographic restrictions is causing me to look into taking up drinking.
I know that the WVU DMR repeater is an XPR8400, which uses the same software, so if anyone has software to program the "repeater" part of the WVU DMR system, that is exactly what I am looking for.
Any help is appreciated!
