The NWS Pittsburgh has just issued a Tornado Watch for Monongalia and Marion Counties until 2000 this evening. Remember that a Watch does not mean that a tornado has formed or is imminent--it means that conditions are favorable for tornado development.

At this time we will activate the Monongalia County SKYWARN Net in Standby Mode. There is no need to check-in to the Net at this time. However, if possible please monitor the W8MWA two-meter repeater.
