We remain the a Level 1 Risk for most of our area. (Level 1 means scattered severe storms are possible.) At this time there are no watches or warnings issued for our area. However, please note the following update from the Pittsburgh NWS:
‘There is a threat for severe weather later this evening and overnight.
Severe weather is possible again late Wednesday night into Thursday, mainly south of Pittsburgh. The first wake of these storms will have wind gusts, small hail and lightning. We believe the main storms will occur in the wake of this first wave. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts and trends for these two days.”
