As I mentioned last week, I will be unable to attend our monthly meeting.

To bring you up to speed, I have a call into the BS Council to firm up the rental of the Cub Scout pavilion for FD 2024.  Since I will be out of town for a couple of days, I will contact them before the week’s end and have (hopefully) confirmation by next week.
As I mentioned on the net, I need info on operator preference as to mode and frequency and particularly type of antenna to be used so we can do placement to cut down on interference.

Repeater net use is up; getting 15 to 20 checkins per ARES Monday evening net.
Our checkins are fairly regular from out of county and occasionally out of state.

I am currently going through our ARES roster to set up some teams to handle future scenarios; will be contacting members for input.

Put a notice in Dominion Post last week about our monthly meeting;  made it in but we have no say when it goes in (it’s a freebie).  Mig,,,shall we check on a radio spot like we did last year?
