“We may very well see a change in severe character as we head into the evening.
“Storms in northern West Virginia will decrease in severe potential. All in all, by the time storms get to the mountains, they will lose most of their strength. At this point, we are primarily only concerned about wind.”
The NWS has kept the Tornado Watch in effect for Monongalia, Marion, Preston and Greene Counties. We will continue to monitor the W8MWA repeater until the Tornado Watch is canceled.
