Good morning!
We survived the Tornado Watch and, hopefully, any flooding here was minor. Todays concern by the Pittsburgh NWS is for high winds in excess of 30 MPH. This continues tomorrow as well. (See the attached graphic)
Allegheny and Washington Counties were severely impacted yesterday by flooding. The images sent out last night by the NWS of local flooding where jaw dropping.
Here’s this morning’s NWS report:
“30-40 mph gusts are possible today. While eastern Tucker County is the only place that exceeds Advisory level winds, these gusts could still bring down trees given the very wet soil conditions.”
