The NWS Pittsburgh still has Monongalia, Marion and parts of Preston Counties in a Level 2 threat for severe weather conditions on Thursday. The main difference in this afternoon’s update is that a Level 3 threat level has been set just to the west. (See the attached graphic.)

Severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind, isolated tornadoes, and large hail are also possible. 

If there is a severe thunderstorm watch issued, we will bring the SKYWARN Net up. Please monitor the W8MWA repeater especially tomorrow afternoon and evening.
