The threat for severe weather on Tuesday has moved slightly south. (Essentially the northern severe weather line runs between Fairmont and Clarksburg.) However, we have had significant rainfall overnight. My rain gauge measuted 1.2” as of 98:35 this morning.
With continued rainfall there is a possibility of local flooding as has already occurred in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Hence the NWS does have a Flood Watch in effect for our area.
This morning the Pittsburgh National Weather Service sent out the message below and the attached graphic:

The NWS Pittsburgh has updated the Weather Story
Showers and thunderstorms are expected at times this morning, and again tonight through Tuesday.
Some of the storms could be
severe, especially Tuesday afternoon and evening. In addition, the potential for flooding will begin to
increase, and continue through mid week as repeated rounds of showers and
thunderstorms move across the area.
