The Pittsburgh National Weather Service office will be offering free online SKYWARN Basic training on April 15th at 6:30pm. If you would like to become a Trained SKYWARN Observer, or if your SKYWARN certification has lapsed (SKYWARN certification is only good for five years,) here is a great opportunity to renew or become involved.

Simply go to the Pittsburgh NWS webpage weather.gov/pittsburgh and click on the link shown below. Fill out the form and register for the online training.
