It appears that things are finally winding down--although the NWS has not yet cancelled the winter weather advisories or warnings for our area. Therefore we will keep the SKYWARN Net in Standby Mode and we can still take your snow reports. 

Speaking of that--at 1720 EST I measured a total of 4 inches of snow here in Suncrest, Morgantown.

Now we can get ready for the cold! Morgantown is forecast to have a high of 19F tomorrow before jumping all the way up to 58 by Thursday. It must be January!

Pewr RADAR, the line of training snowstorms are moving to our north and east headed to Cumberland, MD and Keyser, WV currently. So we were just grazed by them in most of our locations. Good thing too as the areas that were hit had snow accumulating at a rate of two inches per hour according to the NWS. Wow!

As soon as the warnings and advisories are cancelled, I will announce this on the W8MWA two meter repeater.
