These improvements include a new 70 cm Station Master antenna that is mounted six feet higher than the previous antenna. In addition, the Station Master antenna has an 8 db gain. Also over the weekend the software on Wires-X node has been upgraded to the latest version released by Yaesu within the last two weeks.

This should give the repeater greater coverage and the node better reliability.

By way of reminder, the repeater is accessible by any digital C4FM radio on 444.700 MHz with a + 5 MHz offset.
