Thank you to everyone who contacted us or attempted to contact us today.  Your willingness to take time from your day to help us demonstrate Ham Radio to these students was appreciated by Randy and I, along with Daniel Kimble, their faculty advisor.  Daniel has also expressed his appreciation for all of you who have individually reached out to him with offers to help with these future Hams.

I am proud to be a part of this incredible group.

We were contacted by a teacher at MHS who is working with some students to get a radio club started and teaching the Tech level licensing. I will be joining them tomorrow Thursday the 15th at 10:20 to 11:05 to answer any questions and talk a little about ham radio.  If possible could someone monitor the WVU repeater on 146.76 during this time? I don’t know if we will try to demonstrate a contact or not, if we will have time or not, but if so if you could help it would be great. I think I can get into the WVU repeater and I know I can’t get into either the MWA or MCARC repeaters especially from inside the building.

Thanks

Randy
