Here’s the latest information on the Christmas Parade.

The date is Monday December 5, 2022 for this year. There is NO rain or weather delay date. It’s that day or not happening. Once again the local ham operators have been asked to help coordinate the event as we’ve done in the years past. We help direct participants to the staging areas, ensure flow of people and displays are progressing, report on any problems, and in general help coordinate whatever needs done.

We’ll meet as usual in the parking lot on North High Street across from Wesley Church. We need to be there between 4:00 and 4:30 this year. The parade lineup officially starts at 5:00 but there are always early arrivals. Also the start time has been moved up to 6:00 this year. This is a great time to come out and get in on some public service as well as view the parade from a perspective other than along the route. It’s a good event for newer hams as we can put you with someone who has done this before and help you as needed. Don’t worry about making a mistake as we’ve all been there.
