EVENING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
possible. * WHERE...Portions of West Virginia, including the following
areas, Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia,
Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston, Western
Tucker and Wetzel. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive
runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other
low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Banded
rainfall totals of 1-2 inches, with isolated peak values of 3 inches, in
combination with wet soils, may lead to instances of flash flooding. Poor
drainage and urbanized locations may be especially affected. -
