...Light Snow Expected into this Afternoon...

A low pressure system tracking south today will still provide a short
period of light snow over southern Preston and Tucker county on the
northern end of the low.

Expect the potential for around an inch. The higher terrain may see
slightly higher amounts with around 2 inches through this afternoon
and early evening.

With the cold air in place and left over snow, there will likely be a
few impacts to roads conditions.

The attached photo shows how it looks out there currently along US 219 in
Tucker County. As we've been expecting, this batch of snow will stay south
of I-70 today and rates will remain generally light before tapering off
later this afternoon ahead of the next snowstorm moving in overnight
tonight.
