URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA


Two winter systems will impact North Central West Virginia between now and
Thursday morning, the first of which will primarily drop snow Tuesday and
Tuesday night, and possibly light freezing rain early Wednesday morning.
The second system will bring a chance for mixed precipitation and
significant freezing rain Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday.

Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston-Preston-Eastern
Preston-Western Tucker-
Including the cities of Hendricks, Bruceton Mills, Terra Alta, Parsons,
Hazelton, Rowlesburg, Coopers Rock, Champion, and Kingwood

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TUESDAY TO 4 AM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 2
and 5 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze.

* WHERE...Portions of northern West Virginia.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Tuesday to 4 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Tuesday evening commute.

* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total  snow
accumulations between 5 and 8 inches and ice accumulation around a light
glaze. For the Winter Storm Watch, significant icing possible. Total ice
accumulations around two tenths of an inch possible.

* WHERE...Eastern Tucker County.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 10 AM Tuesday to 4 AM EST
Wednesday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Wednesday afternoon through
late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.
