[W8MWA] Alert: Severe Thunderstorm Watch--Skywarn Net Activation

The NWS Pittsburgh has issued a* Severe Thunderstorm Watch*. (See below.)
Per NWS protocol, the North Central West Virginia ARES Skywarn Net has been
activated in *Standby Mode* on the W8MWA Two-Meter repeater (145.430 MHz,
-600, Pl 103.5)

If able please monitor the repeater. Should the NWS issue a Severe
Thunderstorm or Tornado Watch for our area, the NC WV ARES Skywarn Net will
switch to Active Mode.

IN WEST VIRGINIA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL WEST
VIRGINIA

PRESTON TUCKER  MARION MONONGALIA WETZEL

THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF DAVIS, FAIRMONT, KINGWOOD, MASONTOWN,
MORGANTOWN, PARSONS, TERRA ALTA, AND THOMAS.
