[W8MWA] October ARRL Roanoke Division Town Hall CANCELLED

To all Roanoke Division ARRL Members:

The storm damage is extensive in the western portions of three of the 
four states in our division, so we have decided to postpone our 
scheduled Roanoke Division Town Hall indefinitely until infrastructure 
can be restored. North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia all 
experienced damage from Hurricane Helene, and many Hams and ARRL members 
– both as individuals and on behalf of served agencies – are responding 
and will likely continue in their roles for the foreseeable future. Both 
Roanoke Division Director Dr. Jim Boehner, N2ZZ, and North Carolina 
Section Manager Marv Hoffman, WA4NC, continue to be without power and 
internet. Once current demand for Amateur Radio operator services 
subsides and commercial services are sufficiently restored, we will 
reschedule the Town Hall. Many thanks for your understanding.
