[W8MWA] Morgantown NWS Weather Radio Station Off the Air

In case you missed it or weren’t aware, the Morgantown National Weather
Service transmitter, KWN35, has been taken off the air. Jeff Craven of the
Pittsburgh National Weather Service Pittsburgh office has sent me the
following information on the station’s situation. .

The NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter KWN35, located in Morgantown, West
Virginia, and broadcasting on a frequency of 162.475 Megahertz, will be off
the air until further notice

The station will be down until further notice due to site relocation. We
apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please look for further
updates on operating status.
