According to the NWS update below, we will likely be closing the SKYWARN
Net later this morning. However, even after after closure we will continue
to monitor W8MWA (145.430 MHz) and K8MCR (146.925 MHz) repeaters through
the day. Your snow amount reports will continue to be requested and
welcome.

Additionally, any requests for SKYWARN Net activation received from Preston
and Tucker counties will be honored.

The report from the Pittsburgh NWS follow below.

Stay safe and stay warm!

73,

Jeff, WB1AAL

====================================

Just a heads up we are planning on letting thr winter weather advisories
expire for Monongalia and Marion Counties at 10 AM.

However, there is lake-effect snow banding potential today for Preston and
Tucker Counties. In addition, there are still notable travel impacts in
these areas related to snow. We could also see an additional 1-3" during
the day today with blowing snow. We feel as though these impacts warrant an
extension through 00Z (1900 EST) in Preston and Tucker Counties.

The Wind Chill advisory will be maintained as is in all areas.
