>From the NWS Pittsburgh:
Showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected today with an approaching
cold front. Gusty winds are possible in some of the storms. Rain will
change to snow tonight behind the front.
We have replaced the Winter Storm Watch that was in effect for a portion of
the West Virginia ridges with a Winter Storm Warning, in effect from 1 AM
Wednesday through 4 AM Thursday. We will take a look at the latest data
later today for any possible advisories, etc, for the remainder of the
ridges.
Another concern for today is the development of thunderstorms, and a
potential for damaging winds. An initial rain band is expected to lift NE
across North Central West Virginia from late morning through early this
afternoon. Any organized storm could produce gusty wind.
See the attached graphic.
