[W8MWA] Tuesday MWA meeting

We will hold Taco Tuesday at Los Mariachis in University Town Centre 
this coming Tuesday at noon, on March 21, 2023.

At 7:00 PM, we will conduct our monthly MWA meeting at 7:00 PM in the 
Red Cross Building.

We have several presentations and activities associated with this meeting.

First, Terry, K3JT will tell us about his achieving DXCC #1 status, and 
will show and tell some very rare QSLs that he has collected during his 
illustrious career as a DXer.  Terry also made it into this month's QST 
for his participation in the IARU contest.

Second Randy, N8OZY, will conduct Baofeng synchronization; that is, he 
has created a CSV of local and not-so-local repeaters, along with 
pertinent data, that works with Chirp.  He will bring in a computer, the 
data, and a Baofeng data cord, and can update your Baofeng UV-5R.  Even 
if this is a backup, you might want to update it this quick and easy 
way.  If you already have it programmed, back it up to a computer or 
storage, and you can later decide whether to use Randy's data or the 
data you already had.

There is also news about the club repeater.

We hope to keep the business meeting short, to leave time for the two 
presentations.
