[W8MWA] Monday Christmas Parade

Well it's almost time for the parade. Hard to believe the season is upon 
us again so soon.

If you can come help with keeping the parade operating smoothly by 
communicating participant status, guiding participants where they need 
to be, tracking people left to go in whichever category, etc. please 
come join the fun. Big thank you to those who have said they are going 
to be there but we can always use more. Please make sure you have the 
WVU repeater, 146.76, -offset, CTCSS tone 103.5 in your radio. Also just 
in case it goes down we'll switch to 146.55 simplex.

We'll meet at 4:00 PM Monday afternoon in the parking lot on North High 
Street across from Wesley Church. Line up officially starts at 4:30 with 
the actual parade kicking off at 6:00. Parade usually lasts 45 minutes 
to an hour.

Parking is available in the lot. It is a 24 hr pay lot, however I've not 
gotten a ticket not paying before. Probably will this year.

Afterward there is a pizza party open to all of us at Pizza Al's at the 
University Town Center.

This is a fun event and a good way to get involved with community 
support. It really does help.
