Subject: Upcoming WV Auxcomm class

A West Virginia Auxcomm class is scheduled for the weekend of September
10th & 11th 2022 in Buckhannon. It will be held at the Public Safety
Complex at 22 S. Forida St.  Required pre-requisite classes for this
course are the Fema ICS classes, ICS-100, 200, 700 & 800.  We would like
to see at least 16 individuals signed up for this class but can possibly
include 25..  If you are interested in attending, please contact SEC Ed
Messenger, N8OYY.  If this is not a good date for you, most likely there
will another opportunity to take this class in the future at a different
location in the state.

We would like to offer this class to ARES leadership first, but other
amateurs can enroll as well.  It would be exciting to see a large number
of amateurs interested.

WV OEM County Directors encourage amateur leadership to complete this
course.  Completion demonstrates to their teams that we as amateurs have
basic knowledge of the WV SIRN network which is a part of this course.


Jim Mangus WB8YST is working on additional notification and will most
likely have a webpage for registration with times and additional
information.  When he has everything set, registration with him will
pre-registration will required proof of the pre-requisite courses. Ed
will forward him your information, after you have notified him of your
desire to enroll.
