Well it’s that time. This year we have permission to use the repeater site on the mountain. If you’re interested that is. We can, it seems, pretty much resume activities as before. As such we need some information:

Who’s interested in participating / helping?

Are you planning to bring a radio setup?

What band(s) would you prefer to operate?

Any interest in camping out Friday night?

I have the club antennas and will bring them either Friday evening or Saturday morning.

We need a generator. Because of the transient loads, especially CW, at least a 4kw has been found to work best. It seems that the larger units, while not needed for actual power, has the inertia in the armature to maintain speed under quick transient loads.

We also need a Field Day chairperson (Spence?)
