[W8MWA] In-Person Meetings, Field Day, and More

Personally - speaking for just me alone - I'm so done with Zoom meetings I
can't stand it. It never worked for me here without internet at home. I
just installed Starlink 6 weeks ago (like it) and still don't own a webcam
or have any desire to build a studio into the shack. So, I'm really looking
forward to some sense of normal, regular in-person business meetings -
given proper safeguards.

In the past year I have eaten 2 restaurant carry-out meals and just celebrated
my wife's birthday 3 weeks ago with our 1st restaurant dining room meal.
This will reflect a permanent lifestyle change for me. I have no desire to
go back to eating bad food in poor or risky surroundings. I'm happy
carrying my lunch to the park occasionally. But that also requires a trip
into town and I'm learning to enjoy the time home alone.

Field Day: I want to do Field Day badly. I tried last year and bombed hard.
I understand the same rules apply this year and hope to try again. If the
club is going to hold an event together, safely, I'll try to participate in
that. Otherwise I'll try to go it alone again.
