As usual, we will offer VE exams before this coming Tuesday's (February 
18) MWA meeting.  At the moment I have not been informed of any 
candidates for our session but I would appreciate a commitment by three 
VEs for the session.

However, the WVU Amateur Radio Club is in need of VEs this Saturday.  
They use Laurel VE as their test submission agent, but if you are 
already an ARRL VE, they can do the paperwork and get you certified (it 
may even be possible to certify you if you are not already a VE).  If 
you are available, the FCC VE rules are the same for all VE agencies.

To volunteer for Saturday, contact WVUARC member Cameron Hale, at 
KN4CFI at arrl.net the test will be held at the WVU Engineering Building.  
MWA and WVU ARC have been working closely over the past several years, 
and it is certainly in our interest, and in the interest of ham radio in 
general, to have more WVU students become hams.
