An emergency preparedness exercise, social gathering, or friendly

competition - all these terms and more describe ARRL Field Day 2019.



This event offers seasoned operators and newcomers the opportunity

to hone their skills and get on the air under less than ideal

conditions in the field.



With all operating modes permitted, many groups may find the Digital

Modes, including MSK, PSK, FT8, and others, a highlight while

demonstrating their stations to served agencies and the public.



In today's communications environment, one of the best ways for

Amateur Radio to interact with the public is through social media.

Use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms as a quick and

easy way to let people know what you are doing before, during and

after Field Day.



Earn bonus points for using social media to promote FD. For more

information, see the Field Day rules and use #ARRLFD.



Each time you share your excitement on-the-air or in person at

events like Field Day, you increase the opportunities to pass that

excitement on to others - the prospective new Hams in your
