I want to join with Spence's suggestion to get on the HF air. Just this
evening I heard VP6D (Dulcie Island) on 20 meters. They were about S1-2.
What to do?
I waited . . . and their signal came up a bit, to S2-3, and the pile-up
was falling off a bit.
My station is modest (very modest)! A 1983 Icon 740, 100 watts input to
a dipole.
Worked 'em on the fourth call!
MORAL: If you can hear 'em, call 'em. DX adventure is out there!
