[W8MWA] Morgantown Christmas Parade Help

Once again the hams in the area are being asked to help with the Morgantown JC’s Christmas Parade.  The parade this year will be held the first Monday in December, Dec. 3, 2018. The parade kicks off at 6:30 from the top of High Street as usual. For those that would like to help, we will be helping to route the participants to where they need to be, keeping track of parade units, watching for holds once the parade starts and in general just helping things to run as smoothly as possible.

We’ve helped with this event the last several, 10+ years, and are well appreciated. There is usually a meal provided by the JC’s afterwards that we are invited to.

If you are able and willing to help, please let me know.  We will need to meet in the parking lot on North High St. behind Panera Bread across from Wesley Church no later than 5:00.  Participants will be starting to line up around that time.  

We’ll keep and eye on the weather.  It’s been anywhere from 50 degrees to Santa’s home came with him straight from the North Pole so be prepared for anything.  Rain date will be the following Thursday.
