[W8MWA] Fwd: APRS is morgantown

Josh (KC8TAI), myself (KD8YNY) have been playing around with the APRS
system and have them up and running with limited coverage (testing phase),
Josh has been teaching me some neat tricks also.

We are both mainly testing and implementing things as we go along, we have
also noticed (N8URE) is set up as a listening only station just up to the
NW of Ruby and is picking up some pretty good signals.

Over the past couple of days, we have seen some activity and hope this
grows to get great coverage for our local areas and once we get the W8MWA
system back up, we intend on having a much, much wider coverage.

Tuesday the 20th of this month, I will be bringing in my little setup and
we will be talking more about APRS, what it can do and so on.  If you have
an APRS capable radio, please bring it with you and we can set them up to
listen and broadcast APRS.  One radio that comes to mind is the Yeasu FT-1,
FT-2, VX8DR has it also...  I am sure there are others that have APRS.
