The second Yaesu System Fusion (YSF) Net was another great evening of
education and fun! We had 10 check-in's including new friends from
Clarksburg and Elkins! They told us there are YSF Nets on the Parsons
Repeater on Saturday's at 9 PM (analog FM to start) on a frequency of
145.370 mHz and a PL tone of 103.5 and the Clarksburg YSF Net is on
Thursday's at 9 PM (analog FM to start) on a frequency of 147.165 mHz with
a PL tone of 91.5... so let's join the fun! We discussed more "Best
Practices" and how to load freqs into our various YSF radios, and the
possibility to do a beta test in the future of linking the regional YSF
capable repeaters for practicing for a regional emergency event for
ECOMMS. I want to thank Randy (N8OZY) and Dean (KD8YNY) for the education
and wisdom imparted. I also want to thank Aaron (KE8FVA) from Elkins who
provided insight into the other regional YSF Nets! We always start out on
the analog FM side of our 2 meter Repeater on Tuesday nights at 9 PM and
you don't have to have a YSF rig to come play with us! Come join the fun
next week!
