Thank you all for making today such a special day for the club, the
University and the community. We were able to make a lasting impact in all
those who attended today, not only through the contact, but through the
well planned and executed activities from a variety of clubs and university
partners. I had multiple parents coming up to me saying how much their kids
learned and thoroughly enjoyed the activities. I wish I could convert the
feeling of hearing those words into text so I could share it with you all.
I just wanted to say thank you for giving the club and myself the
opportunity to impact the community in such a positive way. Everyone who
helped out with this project, whether it was writing the proposal, building
equipment for the stations or even helping lead kids between activities.
You all made this event possible. Without your support from the beginning
of the ARISS project, this day wouldn’t have been quite as magical as it
turned out. I would also like to thank all of the local HAM club members
who provided the club assistance, whether it was equipment, knowledge or
even just coming out to the event today. Your support is allowing WVU’s
club to flourish and giving us the opportunity to impact more and more
members of our community. I know this email won’t reach everyone who helped
with the ARISS project over the last year but I would like to give a
special thanks to all of them.


Lastly, if you have any media (photos, videos, etc.)  from today’s event, I
would like to begin the process of compiling it into a central location, so
please get in touch with me.
