[W8MWA] WVU ARC Updates

Hi all, 

There’s a couple things going on at WVU we’d like you to be aware of. 

To start off, we will be hosting our first-ever Mountaineer Traffic and Training net TOMORROW, Oct. 19, at 9:00 PM on our 2m W8CUL repeater. We’re really excited to see this first net go well, and we’d love to hear as many checkins as possible. The net will be run by Cameron, KN4CFI. 

Second, we’re happy to say we have over 50 contacts so far in this year’s School Club Roundup contest. We’ve hit over 20 states and several DX, but no WV! I plan to be on 14.235 MHz today from 4-6, and I’d love to make a contact in this state. 

Last, we had a very successful Tech in a Day session a couple weeks ago. Mike, Libby, and Bob made it out to help VE. We licensed 10 new Techs and one General!
