[W8MWA] Alzheimer Walk radio support

Calling all hams:

This Sunday, October 15, 2017 is the annual Morgantown Alzheimer's Walk.  All those who wish to volunteer for approximately 2 hours to supply radio support for the event will be greatly appreciated.  Meeting place for the event is the WVU band practice parking lot in front of the shell building on the north side of the Coliseum...can't miss it with the event tents, etc.  Event registration is at 1:00 pm; ceremony at 1:40 pm; and the walk is at 2:00 pm.  Please be there at least by 1:15 to 1:30 pm.  The walk through the Evansdale campus should be a little over an hour.  We will use the WVU club repeater, W8CUL (146.760 negative offset, PL 103.5).

Our job is to provide communications in case there is a problem....we do no traffic control.  

Dress for the weather...at this time the temperature is predicted to be 78-80F and a 20-40% chance of precipitation.  Note...a little rain will not cancel the event (lightening will).
