[W8MWA] Morgantown Marathon

The local hams have been asked once again provide help with the
communications supporting the Morgantown Marathon.  This event helps raise
funding for get fit WV with proceeds going to operation welcome home which
benefits veterans returning home.  Link below for information on the event

We will be providing communications for the events on Saturday Sept 17, 2016
and Sunday Sept 18, 2016.  Saturday¹s events start at 8:00am  and would be
done around 11:00 or so.  Sunday¹s events start at 7:00am and should be done
around 4:00pm or so.  We need to be there at least half hour earlier than
the events.  If you can help please let me know so I can get schedules and
locations assigned.  We can use all the help we can get as there are close
to 2000 runners expected for the 2 days with the majority on Sunday for the
half and full marathon runs.  This is a great opportunity to get out and
help the community and show what amateur radio can do.

Please note that this is being coordinated as an ARES event and is not
associated with any of the clubs in the area.  It is a joint effort between
all hams.
