It is with great regret and extreme sadness that I must tell you all that
Parker Baronowski - KE8CTK passed away yesterday as a result of a car
accident.
Parker was a member of the newly revived WVU Amateur Radio Club, and served
as its secretary. Since the revival of the WVU club he has regularly
attended our MWA meetings, Over the last few months, he has even served as
a VE. Assisting Bob West in several testing sessions, and running some
sessions as part of the WVU team.
Parker was a great supporter of the MWA and was regularly active in many of
our activities. Most recently he was at the Bunny Hunt with us at Cooper's
Rocks. Whenever I saw him he was always energetic, always had a positive
outlook, and ALWAYS had a smile on his face.
Parker was a Senior at WVU, working towards his degree in Electrical
Engineering. When he was in school, he worked in the Mountainlair down in
the bowling alley and billiard area. During the summers he worked for
Hardy Telecommunications. Every time I spoke with him he would always tell
me with great excitement of his plans to work in the telecommunications
industry.
Funeral arrangements can be found here.

Like all our students in the WVU Amateur Radio Club Parker held such great
promise, and such unlimited potential. His life was cut way too short and
way too soon, and his loss will be deeply felt.
Parker was only 20 years old.
