Not sure if I'll be at tacos tomorrow or not but in case anyone is curious the reason we are purchasing a repeater is:
1) we do not currently have anything on the air on UHF.
2) It was an excellent opportunity to step into the digital age.
3) This repeater is dual band (VHF and UHF) so should something happen to our existing VHF repeater it could be easily put into duty there.
4) The repeater trustee/chair of the repeater committee agreed it was something we should do.
5) The bargain basement price (71% less than MSRP) was too good to pass up.
