Hello Everyone,
At the last couple of club meetings there has been interest expressed in
maintaining a list of local repeaters that could be used to easily program
a radio for use in the local area using chirp.
Last night I was programming my radio in preparation for an upcoming trip
to Chicago, so I took the opportunity to create a github repository
containing those csv files.
The repository is available at the following URL:
https://github.com/jcsmith/chirpFiles
I currently have included CSV files that contain the Morgantown Repeaters,
the frequencies for the NOAA Weather Radio stations, and the US national
calling frequencies.
As time goes on and things are updated, I'll update the README.md file with
a list of all csv files available and a short description of each. This
file can be found here:
https://github.com/jcsmith/chirpFiles/blob/master/README.md
The following file contains the Morgantown Repeaters:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jcsmith/chirpFiles/master/US-WV-2M-Morgantown.csv
I'm sure I've left something out and maybe even have an error or two in
here somewhere. But I figured it would be a good start.
If anyone has any additions or modifications they'd like to see made please
let me know, as this is a work in progress.
Also if anyone is interested in contributing directly please send me an
email with your github username and I'll give you commit access to the
repository.
Thanks and 73,
--
