Just to let you know, I have fixed the issue with the node and it is back online again.

152.000 Tone SQ 103.5 Echolink or IRLP

Echolink is not serving much purpose at this time, well until I can link to a local repeater anyway. IRLP has a gateway, it is online and you can follow the instructions here to access it http://www.kd8yny.my-free.website

IRLP if you do not know, you can talk to local repeaters all over the world or locally if you choose to. You use the radio you have (Must have DTMF keypad) and connect through my radio and internet to make a connection.

I am not sure of the coverage, the radio connected makes the W8MWA repeater without issue, in town it may not make the trip due to elevation issues. I am yet to test that theory..

Please feel free to play, if you use echolink, your callsign will be broadcast upon connection to ID you. IRLP, it is up to you to broadcast your ID as you normally would.

Thanks for your time, hope to see you all at our next meeting. If you are interested in the little IRLP setup, I will be bringing it along with me to the field day in June.

Take care, 73s KD8YNY
