The W4DXCC Convention will be here before we know it. I would ask that you
please forward this announcement onto club members and friends. Thank You
in advance for your help getting the word out!

The W4DXCC convention is coming together nicely. The team has been working
very hard to get everything just right for your visit September 25th and
26th.

If you have not already made your hotel reservations or called Rosie for
convention/banquet tickets then it is time to get that done. The Mainstay
reports rooms are going fast and so are the Banquet tickets. So please call

This year besides all the great presenters and presentations we have an
Elmering session all day Friday called *Ham Radio Bootcamp*

If you were lucky enough to have an Elmer, you know, someone who helped you
learn what and how to become a knowledgeable ham, then you know having an
Elmer is invaluable. With Ham Radio Bootcamp, W4DXCC has put together a
team of Elmer's who can help the new and experienced ham learn more about
setting up and operating HF radio.

Friday Ham Radio Bootcamp doors open at 800 for registeration and class
starts at 830. We start out very rudimentary and finish strong with stuff
every ham should know. This will surly interest the experianced ham and is
a must attend for the new ham.

In the lobby just outside of the conferance hall are amateur radio
equipment vendors that are there to answer your questions. Take your time
asking questions and twist the knobs on your favorite equipment.
