Great idea!
I suggest 7.030 for an HF frequency -- those are the crystals I have for the PIXIE QRP boards.
All sorts of things to practice and introduce to newer folks:
Q-Signals, common abbreviations... Typical minimal QSO format...
Ragchewing on CW and why it's really cool...
Net procedure, NTS Traffic...
Contest QSOs, Running a frequency versus search-and-pounce...
I kinda think VHF is important: at least do VHF, HF maybe once in a while?
There's VHF-FM audio and VHF real CW for those who have all-mode rigs...
On VHF-FM we can stop and explain things on voice.
Speed practice -- after 5 WPM net send a few 1-minute blocks at 7.5 and 10 WPM.
Cheers,

Think outside of the box? Dude! I've been outside so long I have forgotten what was actually IN the box in the first place!

I have heard this mentioned a few times so I am wondering how many area hams would like to try a slow speed cw HF or VHF training net?. This would start at 5 wpm or slower for those just learning. I have an idea how to structure it but want those interested to throw your ideas in as well.
Let me know, if there is enough interest we will start laying the ground work.
