The sunspots are up.  DX has been pouring in.  Both clubs in town have 
been working on improving both the electronics and the CW skills of 
their new members.  G-d's in her heaven, all's right with the world.  
And the food at Los Mariachis is as filling as ever, and just as cheap.

Come on down to Los Mariachis on Thursday at 12:00 noon to BS with the 
MWA and friends gang.

Oh, yes, if you are an HF DXer, 3Z9DX, the guy who put Cocos Island on 
the air last year, says he has the paperwork to go to P5 to operate for 
several weeks.  P5 is a small country just north of South Korea that 
prohibits amateur radio operation by its own citizens, and pretty much 
prohibits entry by the rest of the world's citizens.  If you know of a 
ham on the DX Honor Roll who does not have every country, P5 is one of 
those he/she does not have.  This operation will take place next year, 
so this is the time to consider whether you ever will get that HF yagi 
or wire array up in the air.
