</div>I have used the Arrow OP-144/440 J-Pole, and it  is pretty neat.

It weathers, so if you intend to leave it up I recommend sealing 
the coax connector pretty well. 

I found it to be a little unwieldy to mount on a mast because it has 
only the one small U-Bolt and a lot of mass above.

Make sure all nuts are tightened.

Thanks for sharing this antenna design. For anyone interested a very similar antenna is commercially available from arrow antennas (http://www.arrowantennas.com/osj/j-pole.html). I have one of these and it seems to work well.
