Per discussion last Sunday, here is the ARRL Handout.
You can also find it online at

THIS WEEK -- Sunday, December 14, 1400EST
at the Stadium Press Box...

If Jan can make it, we'll try again for his
discussion of working DX and he'll also
talk about operating CW.

We will take a closer look at those BLINKY BOARD KITS.
Maybe we can get a couple of them built.

NOTE:
This will be the last session for 2014. With some folks
traveling and most getting ready for holiday activities,
we will stand down for now.

We will resume with more HANDS-ON HAM RADIO in 2015!
Coming up: PIXIE 40-meter QRP CW Transmitter-Receiver
boards - they'll fit in an ALTOIDS tin!!
We still have to try to make a Satellite QSO and take a
look at IRLP and EchoLink!
We have stuff to make DIPOLE ANTENNAS for 40m, and
Copper Cactus J-Poles, and PVC/Tape Measure Yagis.
Don't forget RIG TROUBLESHOOTING! What do you do
when you find that Flea Market or EBay bargain rig, and
it just doesn't quite work well? Pete WA8TGG has a couple
of rigs we can look at and try to get them in operating
condition!
We need to explore 10 meters! Technicians have CW
privileges on 80m, 40m, and 15m, but on 10m in addition
to CW from 28.0-28.3 they have SSB on 28.3-28.5!!
Then there's the UPGRADE PATH! Who thinks they're ready
to tackle the GENERAL or EXTRA exams?

Many thanks to everyone who has participated,
Randy N8OZY. Peter WA8TGG, Jan KX2A, and especially
Jay KD8QOO and Bill WR8S for all the help with keeping
this going and getting us the use of the Press Box.

Libby KD8ZMW, Mike KD8ZMV, Rachel, Robin KD8ZOZ,
Jordan and Alyssa -- Hope you have learned a little bit
and we plan to keep it going, get more folks coming in
to take part in our HANDS ON HAM RADIO activities!

Your questions and suggestions are always welcome!

73,

Cheers,
...Bob West WA8YCD
