[W8MWA] Two-Meter SSB Net

Several of us are interested in starting a Single SideBand Net on two-meters.

SSB has some advantages over FM (although there is nothing wrong with two-meter FM!) For example, in an emergency, and without a repeater (all else being the same) SSB will get through in instances when FM can not. But the main reason for starting this net is the fun and novelty in operating SSB on two-meters. 

The SSB net (Upper Side Band) will begin on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 2030 (8:30 PM EDT.) The frequency is 144.210 MHz. That's a half hour prior to our MWA Traffic and Training Net and a week after the Simplex Net.
